Adjusted Age

In answer to your question, he will develop at his adjusted age because technically for the last 2 months he should have been a fetus and was developing the things that he should have been developing in the womb. So he is 11 days old in terms of development.

Okay, that makes perfect sense!

Thank you for taking the time to explain that to me :)

One of the guys I work with has the same problem with his child. He is actually 5 months old, but technically should only be 2-3 months old. But doing better.

I know it is frustrating when you go places and people all stare. I wish the general public as a whole could learn not to stare that way.
Perhaps you'll just have to come up with some cute remark to snarl at them when they stare and ask questions.

I buy water to redo fish tanks, and one day one women was staring real badly at the check out. I looked straight at her and stated "I am really, really thirsty" . After all I only had about 30 gallons of water in my cart to pay for.
From then on she never said another word and looked the other way. As I left the store chuckling to myself. Stating to myself that it wasn't any of her business anyway.

So, don't let people get to you.
You have a very sweet baby!
