Such A Tool

You have any friends who can't even manage to make macaroni? Aren't they just so pathetic? Yeah well I'm one of those people apparently. I somehow managed to pour a pot of boiling water over my hand today and gave myself a nice burn. It's hardly visible (it's red and shiny) but let me tell you I can definitely feel it. Of course I ended up spilling it everywhere cause I basically dropped it into the sink. So now I'm hungry and in pain. Lovely.

There's a reason why I'm not the domesticated one..

Hope you all are faring better than I am today.

Holy bejeezus, you poor thing. Even the tiniest of tiny burns hurt. I can imagine you're in great pain. Do you have any burn cream?

Oh no! I hope it heals quickly. And to think, just yesterday Caly (my 12-year old daughter) and I were making fun of the woman on those commercials for "as seen on TV" products can't use scissors, flip pancakes, or (gulp) cook pasta. The sad thing is, I shouldn't have laughed because I screw up simple things all the time. You are not alone in that.

Lol, I make fun of those people too, but I am like the most accident prone person ever. I was straining it, and the steam got me so I dropped it and then the water got me. Haha. My girlfriend brought me some aloe vera gel. :D I swear the burn on my thumb is in the shape of a heart.

That's me, too. I've actually set the microwave on fire not once but twice in my non-cooking career.

Poor thing. (though I'll admit that I burned myself on the oven door while making pizza this weekend)
